WHY BOULDER?
Easily accessible hiking, a huge selection of excellent restaurants and great coffee! Oh and just an hour away by city bus (this is what the locals use, as it’s the fastest and most convenient) from Denver’s international airport.
- perfect picnic fare from Cured
- it’s potato salad under there from Riff’s Urban Fare
- burrata with radishes and bagna cauda drizzle from PMG wine bar
- cocktail creativity
- small plates are everywhere
- my kind of desserts

HIKING
While we couldn’t do one of Colorados’s famous fourteeners (hikes about 14000 feet) , as there was still too much snow and the rivers too fast to cross. The hiking in Chautauqua gave us a great work out as did Mount Sanitas. Pick your trail based on your fitness level.
